VETERANS DAY SERVICE PARADE

AND VETERANS DISPLAY

 

 

On November 11 at 10:30 a.m. at the Doughboy Monument, there will be a Veteran’s day service, and at 3:00 p.m. a parade to honor American Veterans.

 

This is the 80th anniversary of the Doughboy Monument and the 89th year of honoring America’s Veterans.  The service will start at 10:00 a.m. at the Doughboy Monument and will end at 11:00 a.m.

 

The parade line up will start at 2:00 p.m. on 25th Avenue, starting at 9th Street and going up to 18th Street.

On November 9 and 10 there will be a Veterans display at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church at 1116 23rd Avenue.  The displays will be of military models, diagrams, and military figures.  There will be photos of local military units from WW2 to the present.  This display is free to the public but donations will be welcome.
