Online Water Application

To initiate or restore water service at a residence or business, applicants must complete and submit the Online Water Application below and provide the required documentation.

Once the application is received, a Customer Service Representative will contact the applicant.

Applicants must be 18 years old.

Applicants must provide the following required documentation prior to service being established:

  • Driver’s License
  • Social Security Card
  • Verification of residence with lease agreement or deed

The undersigned hereby makes an application for service at the above address and agrees to pay for said service as measured by the City’s meter according to rate applications. The applicant agrees that this application is subject to the City’s Ordinances and that these Ordinances are part of this agreement.

In consideration of having water service initiated/restored at the above address, I agree to ensure that all water service facilities (sinks, tubs, inside and outside faucets, etc.) are turned off or that someone will be on the property to check for leakage. I understand the City is not responsible for water damage to this property or its contents.

If you are establishing a new service and the water is off, it may take up to five (5) business days from processing the completed application (along with the submitted required documentation) to have the service initiated/restored.

In accordance with Miss Code Ann. Section 17-25 13, if the City of Meridian is notified of a delinquent bill with another water sewer system, the City shall notify you of this delinquency and shall refuse to provide water sewer service if that delinquency is not paid.
