The Meridian Activity Center offers a variety of activities for adults 21 and over. It is equipped with meeting rooms, classrooms, and a public area that can seat 75 comfortably. There is a billiard/snooker room, a large exercise room, and a very nice lending library. We have a fully equipped computer lab, and computer learning classes are offered on a regular basis by Barbara Young, a retired educator that loves giving back to her community.

The Meridian Activity Center is for instruction programs and workshops and is not rented out for private use.

Class enrollment: Participants are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Some class sizes are limited, so don’t wait to register. You are enrolled in the class(es) of your choice only when payment is made.

Supplies: All supplies and materials are the responsibility of the student.

Ceramic Studio

The Ceramic Studio is led by Scarlet Leeper, and fees are based on our regular schedule of class fees and payment for the greenware pieces you choose.

Open Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
Special arrangements can be made to work on projects during break times. Beginner through advanced participants are welcome.

The center includes a television room, multipurpose room used for instructional programs, recreational games and activities, and special events.

  • Bingo for Senior Citizens: First Monday of each month
  • Seated Exercise: Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 10:30-11:30 a.m.
  • Wellness Walk: Wednesday, 10:30-11:30 a.m.
  • Open Gym: Tuesday and Thursday, 6:30-8 p.m.
