The city offers a variety of facilities that you can rent for your upcoming event, whether you’re hosting a birthday party, wedding reception, family reunion, or group tour. Options include shelters, pavilions, ball fields, ballrooms, and even transportation via a trolley. Please refer to the list below for more details.

Union Station

This beautiful facility offers almost 3,000 square feet of space. You can rent one, two, or all three adjoining rooms. Union Station regularly hosts:

• Meetings, training classes, and press conferences
• Weddings, receptions, and parties

Shelter/Pavilion Rentals

• Shelter #1: Capacity: 100 people
  Located behind Frank Cochran Center, next to the playground
• Shelter #2: Capacity: 25 to 30 people
  Located behind the tennis courts and next to Kendallwood Craft Center
• Shelter #3: Capacity: 50 to 75 people
  Located across from Jimmie Rodgers Memorial, in front of Frank Cochran Center and adjacent to the playground
• Shelter #4: Capacity: 150 to 200 people
  Located across from the Meridian Community College Softball Field

RV Trailer Parking is available.

Velma Young Community Center
